At this auction, all potential bidders must be pre-registered and have access to a minimum of $10,000 in personal funds per structure, up to a maximum of 3 structures. You must be pre-registered to bid. Properties will be sold to the highest bidder through an open, competitive bidding process. Most properties are residential in nature, typically 1-4 family dwellings. There is no residency requirement, so both investors and owner-occupants are encouraged to bid. Successful bidders must rehabilitate the structures within 9 months.

At
the Request for Proposal (RFP) sale, the City of Rochester offers
commercial or mixed-use buildings, residential structures that
have specific development requirements, and large parcels of
vacant land that are suitable for development. Interested buyers
are required to submit a Proposal Outline detailing their plans
for renovation or construction, estimated costs, financing plan
and timetable for completion.

City Development Opportunities |

Selected parcels of City-owned development sites are being offered for
sale by sealed bid. Vacant lots are offered on an ongoing basis.
Interested purchasers should submit a bid along with a proposal
to develop the vacant land. Adjoining owners may submit a bid
and proposal which does not call for development. Check Terms
